Baptism

Baptism is an important event in the life of a believer in Jesus Christ. It is a public way of telling our family, our friends and any others who may know us about our faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus told his followers to go “and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19 20)

It is important to note that a person is not baptised to make them a Christian, but rather to show they are a Christian.
