Boys Brigade

On Monday and Thursday nights of the school term, 10th Wellington Boys’ Brigade meets at our church.

ICONZ will be starting up in Term 2 of 2010 on Thursday nights.

Boys’ Brigade is for boys aged from 6 through to 19, with ICONZ and Company sections opperating.

  • ICONZ: 6-10 year olds.
  • Company Section: 11-19 year olds.

BB offers a range of activities, from outdoor camping and tramping, through to hobbies, woodwork and first aid. Our vision is to see boys equipped with the lifeskills they need to become true Christian men.

The object for Boys’ Brigade is “The advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Boys’ and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true, Christian manliness.” It is this that 10th Wellington seeks to uphold more than anything.
